This is my own version of the Gear Rotation based from a tutorial(http://blog.0tutor.com/post.aspx?id=67&titel=Hypnotic-gear-rotation-tutorial) which I choose as the multimedia project for our ITMM 102 class. 0tutor blog present a tutorial which for me is essential to those who is only starting in the world of FLASH. This project is really a great help for the newbies like me, giving as methods and ideas of how to manipulate things in flash and its animation. This project though basic present a simple tutorial that is easy to follow. All of us must start from basics because for me it is the foundation of all complex projects. This project is so helpful in my part cause it gives me more ideas of future projects I would like to accomplish. The negative point in this tutorial, is first like I said its so simple and basic (but helpful), second this tutorial lacks art (ehem!). Why I said it lacks art? because for me it looks dull. For me, we can add some art on it by making the gear more colorful.
Lets talk about my finish product for this tutorial. I export the flash file as animated gif and host it in imageshack.us. I wasn't able to make it colorful because its too late when I observe that it looks dull, and its hard to manipulate the color when you had already apply the motion tween animation on a certain object. But im still happy, because I was able to produce my first flash file following a tutorial. Hope you like it. I would practice more to be able to produce better art.
